Do I Need a Dedicated Server?

SKY 2004 P4 SERVER (10 or less users)

If you currently have a workgroup of 3 or more computers without a dedicated server, this system is your next step. We have carefully built this system for economical and efficient file and printer sharing for small businesses.  For an office with less then 10 users, the 60 GB Hard disk will provide ample space for your files and support multiple printers. Windows 2000 Server (sold separately) will provide file security and the preinstalled Travan 20 GB tape backup system will safeguard your files

For rapid application development, Exchange 2000 (not included) delivers built-in services such as calendaring, contact and task management, discussion groups and document focused workflow.   • Add sales tax where appropriate
  • Deliver of system is free of charge. However, the setup and installation service is billed separately at $75 per hour
  • Free delivery is available only in the West Los Angeles area (East of Robertson and North of Jefferson) subject to approval.
  • To order, a credit card number or an advance payment is required unless credit has been established.

*Warranty

  • Your hardware warranty covers all defects in operation resulting from poor production,  mis-configuration of components and hardware defects for 3 years unless otherwise stipulated in an advertisement or quotation.
  • Your software warranty is limited and covers only software pre-installed on your computer at the time of delivery from all defects in operation resulting from incompatibility with hardware, peripherals and software provided by and installed by Sky Computer Services.
  • Warranty  includes telephone tech support related to operating system errors, software errors from software installed by Sky Computer Services and questions regarding the hardware installed by and purchased from Sky Computer Services.
  • Warranty does not cover defects resulting form accidents, misuse or abuse.
  • Warranty does not include external peripherals, hardware not purchased from and installed by Sky Computer Services and defects or errors that result from such hardware.
  • Warranty does not cover software not purchased from Sky Computer Services and software installed by the user after delivery of the computer. 
  • Warranty does not cover virus damage, mistaken or deliberate reconfiguration or misuse of the software by the end user.
  • Warranty does not cover the quality or ability of the computer to communicate over a local or wide area network such as DSL and cable modem.
  • Products can be returned to the office of Sky Computer Services in Santa Monica, CA at no additional cost during warranty period for service and repair based on the terms of the warranty.
  • Services outside the scope of this warranty require separate billing.  On-site warranty service is billed separately.

**Additional On-site Warranty

  • Next Day On-site Support: A Sky Computer Services Technician  will arrive at your site to begin hardware maintenance service between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm local time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, during the next working day after a call is received.
  • Not available in all areas and subject to approval.
